HELLO MATES,
Well we have been ashore for way to long and are setting sail for Tahiti. It has taken us some time in California to update our electronics, repair sails, fix a leaking transmission and Win made several engineering changes to the boat. But that is all accomplished now and we are looking forward to some warm water sailing again. The west coast is cold as I well remember growing up in Oregon.
The good thing about being in California so long is that we spend more time with the kids. Leah is 3 1/2 and Sean Patrick is 16 months old. We will be missing them a lot over the next several months, but plan to be home around Christmas. We are not sure where we will leave the boat during the Cyclone season of the South Pacific but we are thinking maybe New Zealand or Australia.
